New Membership

Welcome to the fellowship! We are happy that you have made the important decision to become a member of the African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church of Newburgh. We extend to you a most hearty welcome to the fellowship of this congregation. As a member we invite you to get involved in one or more of our ministries and thereby map the benefits and share in the communion of the faithful afforded all members of this church family.

In accordance with the doctrines of this denomination, you have been received into this church by confession of faith in the saving grace of our Lord, Jesus Christ. If you are transferring your membership from another denomination or another A.M.E. Zion Church, a letter of transfer from your former church signed by the pastor is requested. It is our custom to receive new members on a probationary basis until they have been acquainted with the structure, principles and doctrines on which the African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church was established.
